Best ways to avoid constant business failures. Learn from your past mistakes.
A toddler cannot jump up and start running overnight, when he/she has to fall several times before standing firm; and then start walking.
Mistakes are what we encounter in our everyday attempt to do a new thing. Somebody who never made a mistake has never tried anything, and there is no way one can improve if not by learning from mistakes, both from himself and other people.
Mistakes can make someone to fail a mission, but when you fail, there is no other option than to rise. So mistakes and failures are seen as the best teachers in life; from them we get a lot of experiences and wisdom.
When we fail we observe the mistake that caused the failure, learn the point we should amend and move on.
You shouldn’t ever want to repeat a particular mistake, but if you fail two times in a row, and the failures are not caused by repeating one particular mistake, there is no problem.
Just keep on trying and be careful not to repeat a particular mistake. Instead of trying to escape failures, try as much as you can not to make mistakes. And never settle back because you made one mistake. You know about this statement, “I have not failed yet; I just tried a thousand ways that won’t work”. You are not yet a failure until you refuse to rise.
Mistakes are errors we can’t elude while starting up anything. And we shouldn’t be scared by mistake so much because by them we can be able to step forward until we reach our destination. Therefore, mistakes and failures are determinants of success.
They are disguised as doom but they are the bearers of lucks. The more you sweat the luckier you get. You know it all through the University of Hard Knocks. Nothing comes from nothing, so there is no perfection without failures coming first.
Learning from mistakes is a very crucial and smart exercise that aids and promotes personal development and competence in any endeavor.
Learning from your mistakes and trying to improve on them helps you to move the correct information into your subconscious mind, where it should be, so that next time you will urgently want to make use of that information, you can easily access it and appropriately use it.
Never relax to blame yourself for making mistakes; just know that if you didn’t make that mistake, you would never have learnt what you now know. Start to identify the cause of every failure you encounter and find a means to look up and rise. The necessity of mistakes and failures are the important lessons they teach, if you can’t learn from these, then you perhaps may never learn. Don’t forget the past until you learn something from it.
Remember, it is only you that can cause your own mistakes, don’t blame it on others. There must e some inappropriateness in you that cause it. Whether negative thinking, undeveloped skills, inability, poor decision making skill, inefficiency, inexperience or delay.
Don’t dreading temporary failures experiences.
Failures and mistakes are not the same. Mistakes cause failure. But let’s take it this way: We make mistakes by doing something the wrong way. But failures happen to us either by our mistakes or by external circumstances. All failures do not come from inside of us though, but they may come from what we tried, how we tried, where we tried and who we tried.
Failures can just occur as a disaster after our tries. Failures are caused by natural impediments or road blocks on our way to success, which we should have removed but did not. Some of these impediments are visible, while others are not, in the initial stage.
The visible impediments
The visible impediments are the confronting factors that face us when we want to do something. They are those factors that present fears and doubts before us, giving us thousands of reason we should avoid possible endeavors. Few examples of visible impediments are: Poverty, Inability, Illiteracy, non-conducive or unfavorable environment, Low Self Esteem, Captivity, bondage or Lack of freedom etc.
They are those impediments we know they are there.
Discovering your potentials and improving your abilities can help you so much in fighting and overcoming these kinds of impediments.
The invisible impediments
These are those unexpected cause of failure which hinders us or attack us from behind when we are trying to achieve our goals. Invisible impediments are always unknown to the victim, and can be anything. They are very serious challenges and strong weapon of failures.
And that’s why we refer to them as tempest, storm-wind or temptations. They are more dangerous than the visible impediment.
And they are also reason you as an entrepreneur should engage in proper preparation or strong foundation for your business.
Here are the examples of invisible impediments
Government policy change against your business, either by stopping its existence or affecting it negatively.
Natural Disasters like: Earthquake, fire outbreak, war, volcanic-eruption or flood and geographic disaster.
Serious ailment or death of your partner, team, or even you.
What I’m trying to insinuate is that both visible and invisible impediment are sure to exist provided that you are a potential striker or a risk taker. But you can succeed if you identify them and find the solutions for them in the proper time.
For the invisible constraints, there is no 100% solution or control, but prevention they say, is better than cure.
The prevention can be achieved only through proper preparation which you have to make during the initial stage of you business. That’s the need or reason for the strong foundation of your business. The foundation for your business is very crucial. It helps you to succeed those impediments when they happen.
For instance, if you registered your business, you can obtain help from where you registered it, whether government or private insurance company, when this brutal impediments occurred. Your financial foundation, notwithstanding, is the most crucial measure that can aid you the best help. Keep your money safe, and aid you confidence to take more necessary risks.
Life is more like an adventure which can either be fun or terrible. Life may be terrible to those who are overcome by fear or inability to try. But impediments no matter the form they exist can be fun to those that are brave enough, who have the eye with which they can see them as a stepping stone.
You can remove the poverty, by sharing that financial situation, with people who have; starting from your family members, to the nearest helper, and to your bank. Obtained the money? That one is removed.
Apply the same way to remove others. Then you can through that removal overcome failure and become successful. Stop fearing to fail, rather take action by removing those obstructions challenging you.
Prepare for unforeseen circumstance
The unforeseen circumstances I mean here are the invisible impediments or threats. This preparation should be done because you know that one or all of the threats might arise at any time. A good manager is somebody who has this kind of vision or preparedness.
Show your preparedness virtue in plan B, or strong foundation. That’s why insurance companies are there, that’s why banks are there, against unforeseen circumstances.
So plan by saving, diversity or any other means you can to ensure sustainability. That’s strong foundation.
Reasons you should prepare for invisible impediment include that it boasts your confidence in risk taking, knowing that risk taking can be a possible gear of an awesome success.
